Getting There

The closest airports are Poznań and Wrocław.

The castle is located approximately 90 km from both airports, with a driving time of around one hour. Car rentals in Poland are generally very affordable, and renting one is a convenient and practical option for guests who do not mind driving.

The castle has a big and free parking available for all of our guests.

It is possible to get by train from Poznań and Wrocław to Leszno, which is the city closest to the castle. From the train station in Leszno, it is about a 15-minute drive to the venue.

If you have any difficulties with organising your travel, please get in touch with Aleksandra or Jérémie.

Our Details

All You Need to Know

What happens if you don't RSVP in time?
If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we have provided, it will be marked as a "No." We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to the venue in the timely manner they have given us and cannot accept late RSVPs due to this. We hope that you understand.
What time should I arrive at the venue?
Please arrive at the venue a little before 14:00 on Saturday, 21 August. Once there, please collect a key to your room from the reception. Please feel free to use the time between the check-in and the ceremony to prepare.
What is the dress code?
We would love for our guests to look their very best as we celebrate this special day together. While there is no specific theme, we encourage everyone to embrace the occasion and dress as though they are red-carpet ready — elegant, sophisticated, and ready to make unforgettable memories.
Is there parking at the castle?
Yes, free parking is available on the castle grounds for all guests.
Are plus ones allowed?
Unfortunately, we can only account for a specific number of people. Any plus ones will be indicated on the invitations as "Your Name + Guest" when sent out.
Are children welcome?
We can only allow for a few children at the wedding. Those whose kids have been invited have already been informed. We appreciate your understanding!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We would love for you to be fully present during the ceremony, so we kindly ask guests to keep their phones away during this part of the day. Our photographer will capture all the important moments.
Are dietary requirements catered for?
Yes. Please include any dietary requirements or allergies when you RSVP, and we will make sure the caterers are aware.
Who should I contact if I have questions?
Please contact our parents, maid of honour and best man if you have any questions, and they will be happy to help. Contact details will be available closer to the wedding date.
Will there be assigned seating?
Yes, we will have a seating plan displayed at the reception. Please sit in your assigned place and do not change the seat or the place cards. We worked very hard to accommodate everybody and to ensure that everybody could meet somebody new. There will be plenty of time to mingle with the familiar faces on the dance floor.
Our Recommendations

Poland

If you have the opportunity to visit Poland before or after our wedding, we highly recommend making the most of your trip. Poland is a beautiful country with an incredible variety of places to explore, so the best destinations will depend on how much time you have available. As an added bonus, Poland is still relatively affordable compared to many other European destinations, making it a great place to extend your travels.

For short stays

The closest city we would recommend visiting is Wrocław, which is perfect for a one- or two-day stay. Known for its stunning Market Square, colourful historic townhouses, charming bridges, and famous bronze dwarf statues scattered throughout the city, Wrocław offers a wonderful mix of history, culture, and atmosphere. You can enjoy delicious Polish cuisine and local beer in one of the many restaurants and cafés, stroll through the picturesque Old Town, visit the beautiful Cathedral Island (Ostrów Tumski), or relax along the riverside boulevards.

For longer stays

If you have a bit more time, we highly recommend visiting either Gdańsk or Kraków. Although they are located further away, they are among the most charming and popular cities in Poland. Gdańsk, situated on the Baltic coast, is famous for its colourful waterfront, rich maritime history, and beautiful architecture. Visitors can explore the historic Old Town, stroll along the Motława River, visit museums, or even combine their trip with a visit to nearby sandy beaches. Kraków, Poland's former royal capital, is renowned for its magnificent Main Square, Wawel Castle, vibrant café culture, and fascinating history. It is also an excellent base for visiting nearby attractions such as the Wieliczka Salt Mine or Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial.

For nature lovers, our personal favourites are the Polish mountains. The Sudety Mountains, located along the border between Poland and the Czech Republic, offer breathtaking landscapes, charming mountain towns, scenic hiking trails, and spectacular rock formations. For those looking for something a little higher and more dramatic, the Tatra Mountains are Poland's most famous mountain range, featuring crystal-clear lakes, rugged peaks, and some of the country's most spectacular hiking opportunities. Whether you prefer exploring historic cities or escaping into nature, Poland has something special for everyone.
